Pets and odors? Not in this #fiestafebreeze house! Review and giveaway Febreeze air purifier!

Having a pet friendly household is great stuff. Seriously.

But with 4 cats and a guinea pig, there are times where the inevitable smell of pets just gets to be well, enough. We spend a lot of time cleaning and trying to deodorize the house, but still-sometimes, especially in the winter, with the windows being closed, you can’t even get rid of all of the dander and the smell. I have been compensated by Febreze, but all opinions are my own.

Enter my new favorite item.

The Febreeze air purifier.

This little tower is the most amazing thing I’ve seen in a long time.

First off, this thing is QUIET. There’s a slight hum, but nothing like I thought it would sound like!  I was so surprised at how quiet this thing was and the fact that I didn’t even know it was on during the standard chaos of the cats romping, Shrimper making noise and the other half playing on his computer with his radio. Even on high (it has 3 speeds-high, medium and low), there was barely any noise. It was so quiet, Emma decided she was going to mess up the tree skirt to sleep near it!

Since the unit takes away 99% of airborne particles, it helps filter out the dander…and Emma odors. This cat. I’ve never met a cat who can make a house smell like she can!

So, since I’m the science nerd of the group, here’s a really cool diagram on how this sucker works:

(it explains it better than I can!)

Note the air with the particles goes in, filters through and comes out with the amazing scent on the other side! YAY!

It takes the pet odors and dander away and makes the focus on our really neat Charlie Brown tree or our silly stockings.

see? I told you this is how it works and it’s awesome!

I love my newly smelling of Linen and Sky home! Love that the dander and hair is out of MY hair and I can celebrate the holidays with clean air.

  1. Me cleaning tip? Kick my kids out while I clean!

  2. That would be great in our house with 2 dogs! My survival tip: be firm with your plans and don’t bite off more than you can chew!

  3. I keep paper towel empty rolls, cut a notch in each end and put the end of the lights in one notch, roll up the lights on the paper towel empty tube, then put the other end of the lights into the other notch… helps with light storage!

  4. I would love to win this purifier from Febreze! My best tip for the holidays is to not wait until the last minute but to start early whether it be buying gifts or getting groceries you will need for holidays parties/meals. Planning ahead will mean less stress which is key.

  5. My best tip is to get your family involved when it comes to cleaning up after as well as cooking/baking. It’s a good way to spend time together while distributing the chores and things that need to get done.

  6. My best tip is to start early. Especially the last few days fly by so fast so having things done ahead of time really helps!

  7. My tip is to have fun with it all! Don’t freak out about everything needing to be perfect. Just remember that it’s all supposed to be fun and it’s about who you are spending your holidays with, not how clean your house is or what you are eating.

  8. My survival tip: take time each morning to wake up, just breathe, and think about what you NEED to do and what you’d LIKE to do that day. Holidays can get overwhelming and reminding yourself that not everything is a necessary task can help keep you calm!

  9. best holiday advice is to take it slow and don’t try to do it all in one day. It will drive your family nuts and then you don’t get to enjoy it.
